Today's challenge was a close up. I decided to take a different perspective on this one, and go for something with sentimental value. Today would have been my parent's 48th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, they only got to spend thirty years together before my mom lost her battle with cancer, but I can say with confidence that he loves her just as much today as he did forty eight years ago. My parents were very fortunate to have a special kind of love, and my sister and I were very lucky to grow up with such amazing parents. This picture was taken with my dad holding Jax, with my mom's cross necklace. No doubt about it, she was definitely with us today in spirit.
