We were so happy that my sister Jana & her family came to visit us in December. We had a blast while they were here, and surprisingly, they got in on some great and unseasonably warm weather.
The week that they were here absolutely flew by and we wished they could stay longer.
Jax had grown quite a bit since he had seen them last, and the week prior to them coming, I was showing him pictures of them and teaching him their names to help alleviate that stranger danger that happens when people come into our house.
When they got here, Jax was already saying
"Ucle Chiff (Uncle Jeff), Att Yana (Aunt Jana) and Yesse (Jesse)."
Adorable.
Abby & Jessica are self proclaimed best friends and had the time of their lives.
I remember one ride home from school that week, Abby said
"Karen, Jess and I are so close. We tell each other everything."
The way that she said it made me laugh because it was like she was six going on sixteen. Priceless.

Obviously, there favorite thing to do was play dress up.
Jesse made quite an impression on Jax this trip.
He still asks for her sometimes out of the blue, which is so sweet.
We went to Osaka - a hibachi restaurant- and Jackson wasn't so sure about it.
When the big flame erupted, he covered his eyes and refused to uncover them until after the chef was completely done and out of the room.
It was hilarious.
Here he is, peeking through his wiggles and cars just to make sure that the
scary man with fire wasn't coming back.
We miss you guys and can't wait to see you again!!!
