Father's Day Weekend

We had a wonderful father's day weekend - good times, lots of pictures and beautiful weather.

We started off by doing a deck remodel and creating our own backyard oasis

(thanks to a super score flea market purchase of an outdoor daybed with canopy!)

Since Matt had to work on Saturday, it gave us time to get ready to surprise him on Sunday morning.  Cousin Lori came over and was nice enough to help us make father's day cards, take pictures and to hang out with the kiddos.

Out of all of the pictures we took, Abby decided to go with this one for Daddy's father's day card.

She said it was absolutely beautiful.

 

Jackson had some fun with a blanket and a basket for his photoshoot.

 

Sunday morning, we got up and went for breakfast with my dad and then went back to his house for present time!

After time with Bassman, we played in the back with the sprinkler and grilled out on the deck, and then went to the park for some play time.  Jackson got to sit in a big boy swing for the first time and loved it.

 

When we got home we did a little gardening and then grandma and grandpa came over.

All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and a super Sunday.

Happy Father's day to my husband - thank you for making all of us laugh every day and for being such a great dad.  We are all very lucky to have you in our lives!
