Hot fun in the summertime!

Last week, we designated Thursday to be summer-fun-day. We started off by going to West Lake for some playground time, a picnic and then swimming at the beach.

It was a lot of firsts for Jackson - first picnic, first slide ride, first time in a lake, and he handled it like a trooper and didn't cry or fuss a bit.

Abby had a blast playing and swimming in the lake, and even made a new best friend - Lily. 

 

After a trip home, clothing change and nap, we headed off to T-ball for a game vs. the Braves

 

It was corn dogs and a bucket - o- fries for dinner and cotton candy for dessert

Needless to say, we were all a bit tired after the fun filled day and went home to crash.

It was like an entire vacation jam packed into twelve hours - priceless.
