Jackson update!

 

Jackson has been growing so fast!  It's hard to believe that he is almost seven months old.

He is so much fun these days and we are definitely tuned in to his likes and dislikes.

Here's a quick rundown:

Likes:  

Playing with his bag of wipes

Eating

Laying on his tummy

Playing peek a boo

Sophie, the giraffe

Mommy, Daddy & Abby

Being naked

Swinging

Screaming

Swimming

Any remote control

Other babies

Looking out the front window

 

Dislikes:

Going to sleep

Having anything put over his head

When strangers hold him (yes, stranger danger has begun)

Waiting for a bottle

Trying to fall asleep anywhere but in his crib

 

He has been a very good sport about helping mommy work on her photography skills. 

Watch out, Gerber baby, here comes Jackson. 

 

We did have to go to the doctor last Wednesday, as he had a cough for about a week that turned into wheezing.  They put him on a nebulizer breathing machine and said that since daddy has allergies, he probably does as well.  We also found out through trial and error of new foods that squash makes him angry.  Very angry. For periods of about twelve hours after eating.  Unfortunately, we didn't realize after the first feeding that's what it was causing the non-stop fussing (hello colic flashback).   After the second time, we realized what was wrong.  We will definitely never make him eat squash again. Ever.
