September 22nd means two things to me every year -
My dad's birthday and the beginning of my favorite season - fall!
This year, we went over to his house for some lunch, cake & ice cream.
Abby was very excited about a balloon that she gave to him, along with some special drawings and crafts she had made. Jackson was sporting his personalized onesie for the occasion
and even Uncle Duane & Aunt Judy made a guest appearance. Abby gave a birthday concert on the piano, and Jackson got to get his first taste of being a musician.
All in all, it was a great afternoon.
Later that day, Grandma & Grandpa Bishop stopped by our house for a visit and we got this family photo
The next day, we went to Galena to continue to birthday festivities. Galena gets super busy during the fall, and on the weekends, it's crazy, creating crowds which make maneuvering a stroller seem virtually impossible. The weather was perfect that day. We ate, shopped &stopped at a park.
