Last night, Matt took Abby to the Daddy/Daughter Valentine's dance held at none other than
Stoney Creek Inn. Abby has been excited for quite some time about the dance. We went together and picked out a special dress (she chose blue because it reminded her of Elsa).
We made a special barrette to match her dress and I helped her get ready for the big event.
We took photos before hand (of course we did) and when they were getting ready to leave, Matt mentioned that he planned on dancing and "shaking his bottom."
She looked terrified and told me that she hoped he didn't do that.
They got home and she came running in the door with flowers and a smile so huge that it lit up the entire house. She got to dance with daddy, in addition to princesses that were special guests at the event, eat dinner and have not one, but TWO pieces of cake.
She has already told us how excited she is to go next year, so it looks like this will become another Bishop family tradition.
