Our house is officially on the market

It's official.
Our house is on the market looking for a new family to love it as much as we have.
We have been planning to move within the next two years, but were looking seriously into building.
Since we both work from home, we have a lot of boxes to check on our list of "must haves," so we thought building would be the easiest way to get exactly what we needed.
What went from a casual viewing of a home to see if the amount of space they had would work out for us turned into us falling in love with the property.
That being said, we went from not being serious about putting our house on the market to deep cleaning every nook & cranny the last couple of days.  Talk about a roller coaster of craziness.  Although we knew this wasn't our "forever house," it's been more emotional than I would have ever thought to get it ready to sell.  This is the house we lived in when we got married.  This is where we took Jax home from the hospital.  We have so many firsts here, but have to keep the big picture in mind and all that comes with that.  If we get this new house, we will have plenty of room for Matt's office, my home studio and so much more.
This post isn't to help sell the house (but if it does, Carpe Diem), but to hopefully help mark the beginning of a new journey in a new house that we can make ours.
If you know anyone that may be looking, here is the cliffsnotes version of our adorable home.
4 bedroom, 2.5 bath in great East Moline neighborhood.
$214,900

  1. Such a beautiful home!! And yes, I completely understand the crazy, the emotions, the roller coaster of buying and selling a home! But like you said, it's all for the better in the long run. I'll think happy thoughts for you guys and hope yours sells sooner than later! Good luck!!!!
