Kindergarten, here she comes!

It's hard to believe that the time for Abby to start Elementary School is here!

To say that she has been looking forward to kindergarten is like saying that 

winter in the midwest can be "a bit chilly."  

This girl has been literally counting the days until school started and could not be more excited.

Her first day of school consisted of 1/3 of her class gathering and getting oriented with the layout of the school, classroom and other students.  When we picked her up that afternoon, she was all giddy about her new classroom, her new teacher, Miss Runkle and her new friends

 (whose names she just couldn't remember).  

Now, almost two weeks in, she already has a new best friend, Olivia and another friend who's a boy, 

but very specifically is NOT her boyfriend, Kaiden.  

She loves eating lunch with all of the kids in the cafeteria, having gym class and learning.

The first day, they made gingerbread men crayons that they got to take home with them.

We took a couple of shots on her first day and then did a Kindergarten session this past weekend.

Abby would also like everyone to know that she lost her first tooth.

It is on the bottom, in the middle, and since losing it, she can already see the big tooth coming in.
It's official, this little girl is growing up!
