More fall family fun

 The Flemish Fest.

Ever heard of it?  Neither had we.

It's a festival that celebrates Belgium culture 

(and offers free cookies and activities for the kiddos) 

so it's basically a win - win.

My friend Anna suggested that we join them last Sunday and so we packed everyone in the car, stopped to pick up Grandpa Bassman and headed off to Stephen's Park in Moline.

There were huge Clydesdale horses, live music, food & beer tents

and most importantly- fire trucks to climb on!

Abby had a great time running around with Callie and Macy &

Jackson had just as much fun running around and dancing to the polka music.

The weather was perfect and  we had a lot of fun snacking & chatting it up.

 

 

 

 

 

  

Here is Jackson in the height of his glory on top of a firetruck.

This boy loves anything with wheels, but tractors and firetrucks top the charts.
