Father's Day Photos

Every year for father's day, Matt knows one thing is for certain- he's going to be getting three photos as gifts from the kiddos - one of Abby, one of Jax and one of the two of them together.
I don't know why we try to take these photos in secret (since he already knows they're coming) but it's something we always to together and it's kind of fun for the kiddos to think they're in on a big secret gift plan.
Surprisingly, this year went pretty well.
At first Jax was not at all about sitting for his individual photo, so we let him stand.
Exhibit A-

Then he decided that he wanted to sit, but he had to have five trucks in his hands at the same time.
Exhibit B

Then Abby came behind me and started making funny faces to get him to smile, and what did he do?
He returned the funny faces and thought it was a game.
Exhibit C-

Never did he get frustrated and want to stop taking photos, but for a minute, he just stared at us, blankly, and it was actually kind of sweet.
Exhibit D-

I then started singing and doing crazy dances to get him to laugh and got a shot that is truly, 100% Jackson Quinn Bishop.  Good job, Jax!
Exhibit E-

Abby, on the other hand, is a pro at having her photo taken.
Frame #1 - Awesome

 Frame #2 -
"How about I put my hand like the girl you took pictures of last week?"
Amazing.  Absolutely amazing.
Great job, Abby!

And last, but certainly not least, my favorite image of the two kiddos from the session.
After all was said and done, I think we spent about ten minutes in the studio.
Way to go, kiddos!
