I definitely had bigger (and more regular) plans for our blog, however, I hope to catch us up to springtime over the next few days. Flashback to November (yes, almost six months ago - gulp!) where we celebrated Grandpa Jerry & Abby's Birthdays, Thanksgiving and the end of the fall high school senior photography season.
We kicked off the month by meeting the Bishop fam in Coralville for a surprise birthday party for Jerry. We headed to the Children's museum and then to his par-tay!

Happy (very belated) birthday, Dad!! xoxo
Matt has always taken Abby to a daddy/daughter Valentine's dance, but last year the attendance (and in turn, fun things associated with it) were cut in half. This year, he decided to take her to the Sugarplumb ball associated with the Festival of Trees and they had a blast. Abby picked out a gorgeous sequin dress and they danced the night away. She was so excited when she got the dress that we played dress up and took pictures with Jackson for his four year photoshoot. So cute! It's only been six months, but they look so small compared to today - how time flies!

Looking good, you two!
Abby celebrated her 8th birthday in November and got lots of art supplies as presents. This girl loves to draw, paint, read and make crafts. Since Jackson couldn't open her presents, he handed them to her one by one. So hilarious! I treated Abby to a girl's night to celebrate. We went on a clothing shopping spree and had manicures!
Here we are, at the salon! :)
For Abby's birthday celebration, we headed to her pick - the skating rink for a little family fun!
Thanksgiving, 2016
We celebrated Thanksgiving with a delicious feast and family fun at Mom & Dad Bishop's this year. So much amazing food (I think I just gained five pounds thinking about it) and a lot of good memories made. Here are some of my favorite images from turkey day-

Abby got to celebrate her birthday again with the family!
I convinced Brad to have a re-do of his senior picture - looking good!!
So this is apparently the biggest nutshell ever, but here are a few more of our favorite moments from November, 2016-
Leaf playing!!
A visit from Jen
Donuts with Dad at Abby's school
Family fun night at the QC Entertainment Center for dinner, bowling and video games!
Some hilarious holiday shennanigans with my pals from the Creek
Jackson, trying to talk me out of giving him quiet time via his monitor. He even had Funshine bear trying to convince me that he could be finished early. So hilarious!
A serious game of Fibber going on in the kitchen after Jax had gone to sleep. Clearly, I lost.
A typical morning of getting ready in the Bishop household - this particular day was Thanksgiving!
Last, but certainly not least, a thanksgiving selfie that we sent to my cousins in Colorado as the day came to an end. Whew! That was a ton of memories packed into one month (and blog post).
Stay tuned for December...
