Happy 18 months Jackson Quinn!

Jax,
It is so hard to believe that you are 18 months old!
Time has flown by and although I still call you my little baby, you are anything but.
To document your half birthday, here are a few things that you are currently doing/ into/ hating:

You love :
trains, cars, not wearing clothes, not wearing shoes, applesauce packets, looking out your bedroom window, baked beans, Thomas the Train, yelling, saying "mama" (way overexaggerated),
hearing daddy say "poop"

You don't like:
having your diaper and or clothes changed, being told no, using the pedals on your tricycle. Luckily, it's also a stroller so we can push you, but you're getting so tall that you are beginning to
drag your feet on the ground.

Funny things that are happening now:
You still run like you have springs in your shoes
When you are hungry, you go and get a bib and then hand it to me
You woof like crazy when you see and or hear a puppy
You carry your stuffed dog(s) with you everywhere we go
You get so mad when you can't do exactly what you want because you are super independent
When you want to go on a walk, you go to the door and say "walk"
You love to hide things like daddy's hat or mommy's shoes.  We look for them everywhere and can't find them, and then two days later, you show up with them. How does that happen?

I tried to recreate your six month photo and this year, it was much harder. You didn't want to stay sitting in that chair for even one second and you couldn't wait to play with the balloons,
until mommy got her camera.
Check out his 6 month photo vs. his 18 month photo.  Wow.

Here are some photos from that "birthday" photo session:

(this one is my favorite)

And last, but not least, here is his official block photo that we took this morning.
We love you so much, Jax!  You make life so much fun and bring us so many smiles.
Happy half birthday, sweet boy!

and a few outtakes...
