Every one of us in the Bishop household LOVE summer time.
We love the warm weather and time in the sun.
I love sticky popsicle hands and crazy ice cream faces.
But most of all, we enjoy being able to be outdoors as much as possible -
time in the sprinkler, sidewalk chalk nights, grilling out, bubbles,
grandma and grandpa's pool, walks on warm nights... I could go on for days.
We kick started summer with Matt's birthday, but since he worked 28 hours + during that weekend, we had to get creative in celebrating.
We met mom and dad out for dinner on Thursday.
On Friday morning, Abby presented him with some drawings for his birthday - "one is daddy dreaming of birds and trees and the other is he and i playing outside."
Matt is the one in all pink if you're wondering.
Next up, we hit the family museum to check out the new Dora the Explorer exhibit they have.
It was pretty awesome and the kiddos had a blast.
Hands down, this is Jackson's favorite thing in the entire family museum. He LOVES this dog!
Abby then presented Matt with a birthday cake at the museum.
If only we could have eaten it...
We tried to get a birthday photo of Jax and Dad when Matt was opening his gifts on Sunday morning and these were the best two that we captured. Getting any photos of Jax right now tends to be completely by accident because he wants his freedom. Oh boy!
Next up? Some outdoor fun!
