July in a nutshell

Outside of our trip to the Dells in July, we had a lot of fun spending as much time as possible outside.

We went to eat dinner at a cool restaurant in LeClaire that's right on the Mississippi River with Papa

Before Abby started school, we got the kiddos dressed up and went to the park to take some photos, including Abby's first grade images!

 Jax continued to love wearing sunglasses, even if he put them on upside down, or if all we had access to at that moment were mommy's or daddy's.  

We got our phone book delivery and Jackson spent three days, reading the phone book.
I had no idea that one book with tiny writing would appeal so much to a two year old, but hey, this was the longest he had sat still for months, so we went with it.

Last, but certainly not least, we got a new puppy to replace the old and raggedy Mister puppy that he had been carrying around since he was born.  What we didn't expect was that he now had to take BOTH puppies with us every where we went.  The name for this new puppy?  Senor puppy. 

So we have Mister, and Senor and yes, they are best friends.
