The new kitchen, revealed

Our kitchen was the one room that, when we looked at the house initially, we both said
"That needs a renovation...bad."
There were little people etched into the tile backsplash, holding bread, flowers, fruit - you name it.
Not. Our. Style.
The counters were half wood, half white(ish)  with divits and permanent stains that we were constantly trying to clean up and the entire kitchen is the orange(y) oak that we both don't like.
We called the kitchen "Oakapolooza" until we redid it.

We did it on the cheap, because we wanted to give it a facelift, but kitchen renovations are $$$, so we did it on the cheap, but love how it came out.
We used the rustoleum kitchen cabinet refacing kits and the rustoleum counter resurfacer and both have held up extremely well.  I highly recommend both to anyone looking for a quick and cheap remodel for a kitchen or bathroom.
